HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Arts Alliance will hold openings of new exhibits at its Art-a-Pelago galleries in Honesdale as part of Honesdale’s Second Saturday in July. All three will be open on July 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. The Paros Gallery at DJ Harvey Agency, 815 Main St. will feature the art of Patrick Dennis.

Walking into artist Trey Speegle’s RePop Shop is a little bit like going back to the future. Filled with vintage paint-by-number kits and paintings, many of which have been transformed into art that can be described as ”pop conceptualism,” the area is a wonderful mix of old and new.
HANCOCK, NY — Summer Nights LIVE! on The Square welcomes Grammy award winner Joanne Shenandoah to the Hancock Town Square on Friday, July 6, at 7:30 p.m., with a special interactive children’s workshop at 11 a.m. Both the performance and workshop are free and open to the public.
NARROWSBURG, NY — “Matter of Course,” an exhibition of mixed media by Sonjie Feliciano Solomon, opens at Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA), 37 Main St., on Friday, July 13, with a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. The show will be on view at the Loft Gallery through August 11.
NARROWSBURG, NY — Residents and visitors still have a chance to see Independence Day fireworks. They will be held in Narrowsburg on Friday, July 6 at 9 p.m. The show is made possible by Lang Industries, Central House Resort and Lander’s River Trips. The rain date is July 7.
HONESDALE, PA — Stourbridge Pie: A Market Gathering Place will be at The Cooperage, 1030 Main St. again on Thursday, July 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. The event series at The Cooperage strives to provide the greater Honesdale community with access to quality local agricultural products, artisanal goods, locally produced art and live entertainment.
LIBERTY, NY — The Town of Liberty offers a weekly farmers’ market at Creekside Park from now until August 31. Area residents and visitors can support local farmers while improving their nutritional health by purchasing locally grown fruits, vegetables and fresh-cut herbs. The market will take place on Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m. at 119 N.
NARROWSBURG, NY — The second offering of Act Underground Theatre’s 2018 Suffering Fools Season will be “The Revolutionists,” to be performed at the Tusten Theatre on Bridge Street on Friday and Saturday, July 13 and 14 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 15 at 2 p.m.
LACKAWAXEN, PA — The Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River and the Zane Grey’s West Society will host the 14th annual Zane Grey Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 14. The free festival will be held on the grounds of the Zane Grey Museum.
