Sweetbriar Rose on Second Saturday

HONESDALE — On Saturday July 14, 2018 The Cooperage will be the headquarters for July’s Second Saturday Honesdale, when Sweetbriar Rose, featuring Arrah Fisher, will perform starting at 7 p.m. The Cooperage will also sell T-shirts, food and beverages with the proceeds to help fund Second Saturday.

‘Nature Smiles in Color’

MILFORD, PA — The ARTery Gallery will present a new exhibit featuring artists Madeline Tully and Claude Larson; titled “Nature Smiles in Color,” it opens on July 12. There will be a reception on July 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the gallery, 210 Broad St., and the show will run through August 6.

Oktoberfest in July

SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, PA — The area’s first Oktoberfest in July will take place at Shawnee Mountain on July 14 and 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A celebration of the German culture, Oktoberfest in July will feature authentic German food and beer including Krombacher and Kellerbier.

Equinunk fire company barbeque

EQUINUNK, PA — The Equinunk Volunteer Fire Company will hold its chicken barbeque and day of fun on Sunday, July 29 at 12 noon. There will be games and entertainment sponsored by the Equinunk and Damascus First Responders. Music will be provided all afternoon, and food will include chicken, clams, sausages, soda and beer.

‘A Taste of India’

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — Jeffersonville’s JEMS will bring another of their internationally flavored festivals to Sullivan County on Saturday, July 14 at 7 p.m., with the focus this week on India. The event will take place at the Main Street Events Stage, 4912 State Rte. 52.
