Fiore’s 'White Pine Suite'

MILFORD, PA — Ten paintings from Peter Fiore’s White Pine Suite are featured in an exhibit at the first floor gallery of the Hotel Fauchere, not far from the trees  at the Marie Zimmerman Estate that inspired this body of work. They will be on display throughout the summer.

'Antique Clocks' at Calder

EQUINUNK, PA — The first in a series of informative programs at the Equinunk Historical Society’s Calder House relating to Wayne County history is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 2. 'Parallel Freefall'

'The Amish Project' at The Cooperage

HONESDALE, PA — The Pocono Mountains Theater Company will present “The Amish Project” on Friday, May 25 at 8 p.m. at The Cooperage, 1030 Main St. A single actress performs in this fictional exploration of the Nickel Mines schoolhouse shooting in an Amish community, and the path of forgiveness and compassion forged in its wake.

‘Open mic’ at the library

CALLICOON, NY — The Western Sullivan Public Library invites poets and poetry lovers to “The  Poetry Vault”, an open mic (less) reading venue for original work. Come recite your work, or get inspired while listening to others. “The Poetry Vault,” facilitated by Dorothy Hartz, will  take place on Tuesday, May 22 at 6 p.m.

DVAA grants award showcase

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) will be holding the first annual Sullivan Arts Grants Award Showcase on Saturday, May 19, fom 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tusten Theatre, located at 210 Bridge St. Twenty-two local arts organizations received grants in 2018 under two separate regrant programs, administered by DVAA.

Barryville Farmers' Market opens

BARRYVILLE, NY — The Barryville Farmers’ Market, presented by the Barryville Greenmarket Foundation, opens for its 13th season on Saturday, May 19. The market will be open every Saturday (rain or shine), 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October 27. It is located at 3385 Rte. 97, behind River Market.
