BLOOMINGBURG, NY — Saturday, November 11, 9 a.m. Veterans Day Ceremony at VFW Post 4947. 9:30 a.m. Veterans Day Ceremony at the Bloomingburg Firehouse. The guest speaker will be the Hon. Frank LaBuda.

ELDRED, NY — Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m. Tusten-Highland-Lumberland VFW Post 6427 and the Sylvan-Liebla American Legion Post 1363 will hold a Veterans Day Service at Heroes Park in honor of all veterans. Following the ceremony, refreshments will be served, and there will be a raffle drawing.

HONESDALE, PA — Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m. VFW Post 531 and American Legion Post 254 host a memorial observance at Veterans Park, located behind the municipal swimming pool on Route 191 north of the borough. Speakers include American Legion Post Commander James Carbone. The Honesdale High School Band will play taps.

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — Friday, November 10, 6 p.m. Veterans Thank You Dinner at St. George’s Church, 97 Schoolhouse Hill Rd. For reservations call Maria at 845/482-4640, Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

KAUNEONGA LAKE, NY — Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m., Veterans Park. Sgt. Andrew Brucher VFW Post 5499 will be conducting Veterans Day Services. All veterans and the public are invited. Attendees are requested to arrive by 10:45 a.m.

LAKE ARIEL, PA — Thursday, November 9, 10 a.m. Western Wayne High School dedicates its auditorium in memory of American Veterans during its Veterans Day student assembly with speaker Col. Frank Muggeo.  Sen. Lisa Baker speaks separately at the middle school assembly.

LIBERTY, NY — Saturday, November 11, 5 p.m. Annual veterans dinner (spaghetti and meatball) at Liberty Elks Lodge 1545. Veterans eat free, guests $7.

LONG EDDY, NY — Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m. The Allan Milk Memorial VFW Post 7276 will conduct Veterans Day observances at the Long Eddy Firehouse. Area veterans and the public are welcome. The VFW auxiliary will be serving lunch following the program.

MATAMORAS, PA — Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m. Veterans Day Ceremony and World War I Monument Dedication. Veterans Memorial Park and Education Center, 805 Avenue S., behind the football field.

MILFORD, PA — Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m. Marine Corps League Tri-State Gung-Ho Detachment #919 holds Veterans Day ceremony at the Milford Monument and Milford Beach for those who died at sea.

MONTICELLO, NY — Saturday, November 11, 10:30 a.m. there will be a ceremony at the Sullivan County Government Center. Hosting will be the Ruddick Trowbridge Post #73, The American Legion, the Jesses Brams Post #9588, Veterans of Foreign Wars, all based in Monticello. Keynote speaker will be Gary Schacher, incoming candidate for New York State Commander of the American Legion for 2018-2019. Refreshments follow at the Monticello Elks Lodge. Al Etkin will be master of ceremonies.

GRAHAMSVILLE, NY — Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m., Grahamsville Rural Cemetery on Route 55. At the Flag Exchange Ceremony, the Fred Ahrens Flag will come down and Fernando (Fred) Costa’s Flag will be raised. Following the ceremony, there will be refreshments at the Town of Neversink Town Hall.

SUMMITVILLE, NY — Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m. Ceremony at the firehouse, refreshments to follow.

WOODBOURNE, NY — Saturday, November, 1 p.m., Route 42/52 (Main Street). The 19th annual Veterans Day parade, sponsored by the Woodbourne Fire Company No. 1. Lineup at 12 noon, step off at 1 p.m. Service to follow at Woodbourne Firehouse.

WURTSBORO, NY — Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m. American Legion Post 1266 will conduct Veterans Day services at the Veterans Park, Sullivan Street.  Refreshments to follow at the Legion Post, 92 Pine Street.
