HONESDALE, PA — Stourbridge Pie market returns at The Cooperage, 1030 Main St. Thursday, June 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. The market showcases over 25 artisan and produce vendors, a pop-up gallery from the Wayne County Arts Alliance featuring artist Denis Folz, photo opportunities with the New Vintage Ensemble puppets, a healthy-cooking demo and taste test from Canaltown with Lackawaxen Farm Company produce, farm-to-table eats from the Anthill Farm Kitchen and live entertainment.
Shoppers will also have the opportunity not only to shop local, but to give local. The Cooperage Project will be collecting produce and bread for the Wayne County Pantry Program’s Newfoundland Pantry, which serves that community on Friday, June 9. The live music lineup will include the Well Bottomers, Robert Dugan and The Crackers.
For the little ones there’s Romping Radishes, a healthy-living class for kids, at 4 p.m. upstairs. This month’s topic is art in nature, and the students will take a walking field trip to the Stourbridge Park to see the Lackawaxen River and throw seed bombs with wildflowers.
