HONESDALE, PA — The Cooperage’s new summer market series, Stourbridge Pie: A Market Gathering Place, debuts on Thursday, May 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Cooperage, 1030 Main St. The market will showcase over 20 artisan and produce vendors, a pop-up gallery from the Wayne County Arts Alliance featuring artist and author Lindsay Barrett-George, a drone demo, NACL street performers, a cooking demo and taste test from Canaltown with Lackawaxen Farm Company produce, farm-to-table eats from the Anthill Farm Kitchen and live entertainment. Kids under the age of 12 can get a free ice-cream cone from Creamworks Creamery. Romping Radishes, a healthy-living class for kids, will be at 4 p.m. upstairs.
Shoppers will also have the opportunity not only to shop local, but to give local. The Cooperage Project will be collecting produce and bread for the Wayne County Pantry Program Newfoundland Pantry, which serves the community on Friday, May 12.
