MILFORD, PA — The Milford Farmers Market will open its fifth season starting on May 27, and will continue every Sunday until October 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The environmental non-profit Air Soil Water will again hold the market at The Columns Museum, 608 St. The Columns is a significant cornerstone of Milford and home of the Pike County Historical Society.

This year the market has grown to over 20 vendors including an assortment of produce, meats, breads, bakery goods, jams and personal products—all fresh, all local, hand-picked, homemade. This season there will also be one special craft vendor that will vary each week.

The market has a specific goal of keeping local food and sustainable agriculture in the forefront of public consciousness. The market drives home the point that people can demand better food, better health, a better local economy and a more responsible use of land and resources.
