LACKAWAXEN, PA — The second annual Lackawaxen Music Festival and Great Pig Off will be held on Saturday, July 14 at the Lackawaxen Firehouse, 774 Rte. 590. Proceeds from the event will go to the Lackawaxen Fire Company and to the American Legion.
Outstanding musical talents will be performing all day, including popular solo artist Randy Jackson; the Led Zeppelin tribute band Kashmir; Rat Race Choir, which performs Jethro Tull and other iconic progressive music; and Blue Ruin, a leading New York’s blues and classic rock band, among many others.
Organizers have invited five chefs to prepare one 150-pound pig each, to compete in “The Big Pig Off,” and the results of their hard work can be had for only $5 a plate. One will be declared Pigmaster of 2018.
