HONESDALE, PA — ReMax Wayne at 416 Main St. will present Bozena Janiszewski as its exhibited artist for the months of March and April.
Bozena was born in Poland, studied art in high school and also received a bachelor’s degree in teaching. Working for 25 years teaching art to elementary school and high school students, she has continued to pursue art because of what she sees as “the incredible beauty of God’s creation” surrounding her. Her art focuses attention on the show of light, shadow and colors, mutual relations of simple objects such as flowers, fruit and glass, ceramic and metal dishes. She strives to show and stop in time the beauty and magic of a special moment that passes and disappears with changing light.
A reception open to the public will be held at ReMax Wayne, 416 Main St. Honesdale, on Sunday, April 8, from 2 to 4 p.m.
