GRAHAMSVILLE, NY — Herbs have been with us forever—from their mention in Genesis, through the centuries to today, where they are distilled and sold on the internet daily. “From Garden Plot to Kitchen Pot,” a presentation on growing and using herbs, will be held at the Time and the Valleys Museum on State Route 55 in Grahamsville, on Sunday, March 25th at 2 p.m. Diana K. Weiner, Sullivan Renaissance horticulture program manager, will explore the history, cultivation, propagation and the many culinary uses of herbs, just in time for the start of the 2018 gardening season.

The program is free for museum members and $3 for non-members. Entry includes a packet of basil seeds donated by Renee’s Garden Seeds, admission to the museum and light refreshments. For more information call 845/985-7700, email info@timeandthevalleysmuseum.org, or visit www.timeandthevalleysmuseum.org.
