MILFORD, PA — The Milford Garden Club and the ARTery Gallery are partnering for the third year for ARTery in Bloom. This unique, collaborative show features the garden club’s floral and horticulture displays paired with artwork from gallery members.

The opening reception will take place on Saturday, May 11 from 2 to 6 p.m., and the exhibit will be on display until June 3. The ARTery Gallery is open on Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

ARTery in Bloom brings two long-time Milford institutions together for this creative, unique exhibit. “Sometimes I wonder how in the world the garden club members can possibly interpret some of the pieces submitted.  To our surprise and delight, they always come up with the most amazing and imaginative floral pieces.  Shown together, they make a wonderful ensemble,” says gallery curator Marie Liu.

The Milford Garden Club has been beautifying the town since 1937, with an established garden at Remembrance Place and a vegetable garden next to the Milford Township building. Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from March through December at St. Patricks Hall. The ARTery Gallery, a cooperative venture that is owned an operated by the artist members, was established in 1999.
