BETHEL, NY — The members of the historic Bethel Presbyterian Church invite the public to a free concert on Wednesday, June 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. This is a new event that came about through a partnership with members of the Bethel Presbyterian Church and Little Sparrow (Carol and Aldo). Doors open at 5 p.m. and the music begins at 6 p.m. with an opening performance by Little Sparrow.

The concert will feature the music of special guests Fred and Carole Linde, from Moscow, PA, known as Common Threads. Common Threads is a folk/rock duo whose music is influenced by the Beatles, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, Janis Joplin, Carole King, The Eagles, Vince Gill and many others. They are well known for their sweet harmonies and lively guitar picking.

The series will continue throughout the summer on the first Wednesday of each month. Bring a light dish or an appetizer to share. Next month (July 4) will feature a performance by pedal steel guitarist Jay Ganz, and August 1st will feature Mike and Anne Baglione.
