HONESDALE, PA — Tim Farrell takes the stage at The Cooperage, 1030 Main St., on Saturday, July 7 at 7 p.m.. Through his mastery of the intricacies and melodic grace of finger-style guitar, Farrell has the rare ability to inspire listeners to experience music on a multitude of levels. He has entertained audiences internationally, appearing in a variety of concert venues such as the Kimmel Center, Montreal Jazz Festival, Carnegie Center, Metropolitan Museum of Art and more. He has shared the stage with such notable artists as Les Paul, Alex DeGrassi, the California Guitar Trio and John Sebastian.
Farrell writes “memorable melody lines that go beyond technique,” says Billboard magazine. John Diliberto, the host of Echoes Radio, says, “Tim Farrell brings a melodic sensibility to his compositions that makes him stand apart from most of the finger-style crowd.”
Donations will be collected at the door. This event is BYOB.
This performance is supported in part by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
