MONTICELLO, NY — Students in seventh grade or higher who love to read and enjoy competition should consider joining the Battle of the Books team, The Novel Bunch, now forming at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Library.

Battle of the Books is a reading competition for teens entering grades seven through 12. Participants will read five pre-selected books and then participate in trivia-based “battles” at a regional event in April. The library team won the Sullivan County Battle this past April.
