HAMLIN, PA — The Beautiful Backyard Birds program will be held on Saturday, January 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Ritter’s Farm Market, Rt. 590. For the first part of the program, participants will engage through sight and sound in an experiential presentation. This presentation is geared toward a diverse audience of adults and alike. During the rest of the program, hands-on activities and a bird feeder engineering station are available for interested learners.
This program also includes a snack for all participants. All EATS (Environment and Agriculture Teaching Science) programs are led by NaturED to connect people to their need for sustainable natural resources. A beverage is also provided. Activities are geared towards ages three to 10, and all kids-at-heart are welcome to participate.
The cost is $5 for adults and teens, $10 for children ages three to 10, and free for children under three. Prepay is available during the market’s winter hours; bring your receipt to the program.
