HAWLEY, PA — The Cocoon Coffee House has the caffeine you need to get you going in the morning, but they also offer art exhibits to stimulate your intellect as well. Throughout the winter months, the installation on display is “Absence of Light,” the brainchild of Narrowsburg abstract artist Claudine Luchsinger.
“Almost everyone can find beauty in the light,” Claudine said, “but only some of us can appreciate the darkness.” Claudine goes on to say that each of the works on display is either dark in its palette or in its content; clues to the content are in the title of the work. Her favorite work, for example, is titled “Side Effects of the 1%,” a painting with hidden figures. The exhibit is on display every day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 8 Silk Mill Dr.
