‘Nature Smiles in Color’
MILFORD, PA — The ARTery Gallery will present a new exhibit featuring artists Madeline Tully and Claude Larson; titled “Nature Smiles in Color,” it opens on July 12. There will be a reception on July 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the gallery, 210 Broad St., and the show will run through August 6.
An early member of the 19-year-old cooperative gallery, Tully’s work is very popular with the visitors. Her paintings use striking color and a style reminiscent of the Old Masters and Impressionists to depict scenes and florals with a romantic flair. Tully’s work elicits a walk through a garden or a wistful step back in time.
Also color enthusiast, artist Claude Larson presents a collection of works that, from the smallest blooms to the far reaches of space, interpret the natural world through textiles and collage.
Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit www.arterygallerymilford.com.
