Brennan/Crescenti Repeat as Winners of Empire State Performance Rally

NARROWSBURG, NY — For the second year running, the Irish/American duo of Patrick Brennan and Aaron Crescenti (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10) were the overall winners of the Empire State Performance Rally (“ESPR”).  Gerard Coffey/Andrew Browne (Subaru Impreza RS) placed second, 4-1/2 minutes behind, but well ahead of Dennis Romero/Jose Maria Rodriguez

Panthers nip Bulldogs 10-2

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — It’s never a good omen when turkey vultures circle over the home field.

On Monday October 2, the Sullivan West Bulldogs (0-2 league, 1-8 overall) took on the visiting Panthers of Monticello (1-2 league, 7-3 overall) in a non-league boys’ varsity soccer match.

A race to the checkered flag

WHITE LAKE, NY — On August 25 to 26, 2017, the Bethel Motor Speedway (BMS) hosted the 20th annual ZMAX Bandolero Nationals and the 10th annual LegendStock races at the historic quarter-mile oval asphalt track, just a few miles as the crow flies from the site of the 1969 Aquarian Exposition.

Eldred booters win first game of the season

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — It was a “Dog Day Afternoon” for the home team.

On Tuesday afternoon September 19, under glorious blue skies and balmy weather, the visiting Eldred Yellow Jackets boys' soccer squad squared off against the Bulldogs of Sullivan West (1-5).
