Michele R. Adams of Beach Lake, PA died on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. She was 58.

Born on January 21, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA, she is the daughter of Margaret “Peg” Donahue DeLisle of Lake Worth, FL and the late Herbert DeLisle. Michele was a loving mother who began working at Wallenpaupack Area School District as a teacher’s aide in special education. She has been employed by Wayne Highlands School District since 1992 and currently was a 6th grade special education teacher’s aide at Wayne Highlands Middle School.

She enjoyed working around her yard, tending to her garden, and was an avid and competitive board and card game player. She also enjoyed spending time with her sisters on the beach in Ocean City, NJ.

Michele enjoyed her work and was a dedicated mother who loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of six years, Louis L. Adams III. The couple married on February 19, 2006. Also surviving are her children Matthew Snyder of Osprey, FL, Mark Snyder of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Jonathan Snyder and wife Justine of Venice, FL, twins, Michael Snyder and companion Amery Lim of Nokomis, FL and Alison Snyder and companion Tyler Rake of North Branch, NY; her brother Herb DeLisle; sisters Nancy Trainor and husband Frank, Jeannie Mauser and husband Bill, Cheryl Morrissey and husband Leo, Martine Porter and husband John and Peg DeLisle; grandchildren Mia and Evie Snyder; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation was held at Maple Hill at Salem Crematory, Archbald, PA. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 14 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale. To send a condolence visit www.hesslingfuneralhome.com.
