Emily Buddenhagen, a lifelong resident of Narrowsburg, died Wednesday November 4, 2015 at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart, PA. She was 87.

The daughter of Chris and Gertrude Christiansen, Emily was born December 15, 1927 in Jersey City, NJ.

She worked for over 20 years as a baker at the Narrowsburg Central School and also as a part-time cook at Landers River Trips. She was a member of the Tusten Lions, Red Hatters, Senior Citizens and Historical Society. She was a past member of the Tusten Ambulance Auxiliary and a dedicated and avid bingo player.

Wife of the late Horace 'Bud' Buddenhagen, she is survived by her four children, John Buddenhagen of Chesapeake, VA; Rick Buddenhagen of Lake Huntington, NY; Keith Buddenhagen and his wife Ann of Narrowsburg, NY; and Judy Kelly and her husband Gene of Beach Lake, PA; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Emily was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 2-6 p.m. at Lava Fire Department in Lava, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tusten Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Narrowsburg, NY.
