Anna Weber of Barryville, NY a longtime resident of the area, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2014 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. She was 90.

The daughter of the late Josef and Anna Lax Muller, she was born September 21, 1923 in Kleinaign, Germany.

She was married for 62 years to the late Karl Weber; he passed away on January 3, 2009.

She was a member of St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Shohola, PA. A family statement reads, “Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She liked to play bingo, watch the birds, and the outdoors. She loved her home and living in the country. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.”

Survivors include her daughter, Marianne Yeaw and her husband Kenneth of Shohola, PA; son, Karl P. Weber and his wife Catherine of Maplewood, NJ; grandson, Justin Weber and his wife Jennifer of Hillsborough, NJ; a great-granddaughter, Rose Weber; and three sisters in Germany, Katherina Muller, Fanny Grundl and Frieda Adam.

Anna is predeceased by her husband, Karl, three brothers and two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday April 21 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Shohola, PA. Father Thomas Major officiated. Christian burial will took place in the parish cemetery.
