Robert N. Sullivan of Glen Spey, NY, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at his home. He was 77.

He was born on December 1, 1934 in St. Johnsville, NY, the son of the late Fred and Grace Nellis Sullivan.

Bob was a retired manager for Contel Telephone Co. in Port Jervis and Middletown, NY. He served with the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He is a member and past president of the Port Jervis Rotary Club, a member and past president of the Port Jervis Chamber of Commerce and a past commander of the St. Johnsville V.F.W. Post. He was also a member of the Black Forest Club in Glen Spey.

Robert married Joan M. Gray Sullivan, who survives at home.

He is also survived by his daughter Cheri Hosack and husband Michael of Sparrowbush; sons Robert Sullivan and companion Phyllis Varcoe of Pond Eddy, NY and Shawn Sullivan and wife, Charlene of Middletown; grandchildren Michael, Robert, Alyssa and Logan; four great grandchildren; brother Fred Sullivan and wife Jean of Illion, NY;, sister Barbara Bladon and husband Jim of Port St. Lucie, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his grandson, Brendan Sullivan.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
