Josephine A. Maidhof of Washingtonville, NY died on October 31, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 83.

Josephine was born in the Bronx on June 26, 1928 to Joseph and Mildred Curro.

She was a member of the Blooming Grove Seniors, the Blue and Gold Seniors, and was a lifelong Yankees fan who loved bingo and trips to Atlantic City.

She is survived by sons William Maidhof and wife Petrina of the Bronx and Robert C. Maidhof of Shohola, PA; daughter JoAnne and husband Robert J. Hoffmann of Washingtonville; grandchildren William Maidhof and wife Allison, Michael and John Hoffmann; great granddaughter Ava Maidhof; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by brothers Richard and Angelo Curro.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on November 7 at St. Stephens Church, Kearny, NJ. Cremation will follow and be private.
