Gale McCarthy of Glen Spey, NY, a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2011, at her home. She was 57.
Gale was born in West Orange, NJ on June 4, 1953, to parents Howard and Florence Dubanowich.
She attended Livingston High School and went on to receive her LPN from St. Barnabas Medical Center, working at various practices over several years. In recent years, she sold real estate, collected and traded antiques and ran a successful artisan antique jewelry creations business.
Gale is survived by sons Sean McCarthy and wife Dana and Colin McCarthy; their father, Patrick; brother Kenneth Dubanowich and wife Miceal; grandson Aiden McCarthy; sisters-in-law Margaret Dubanowich and Mary and Lynn McCarthy; brothers-in-law James and Thomas McCarthy; a cousin and several nephews.
Gale is predeceased by her brothers, Stanley Dubanowich and Gary Epton.
