Woodsongs Coffeehouse features Steve Lane

HURLEYVILLE, NY — The Woodsongs Coffeehouse at the Sullivan County Museum will feature Steve Lane ( of Port Jervis on Saturday, April 7 at 6 p.m. Lane was raised in a farmhouse on old-time country music, and has become a noted alternative country music songwriter. He learned the guitar from his country-music father Don Lane and brother Dan, and other musicians that hung around their house when he was a child. His father will perform with him at the coffeehouse. The evening will also include a return performance by Van Manakas ( Manakas is recognized by the musical press as one of the most versatile and respected guitarists in the country.

The evening is sponsored by Steve’s Music of Rock Hill ( and hosted by the Sullivan County Bluegrass and Americana band Little Sparrow. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission costs $5.
