Deborah “Debbie” Carol Storms of Port Jervis, NY, a lifetime resident of the area, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis after a long battle with cancer. She was 59.

She was born September 30, 1952 in Port Jervis, the daughter of the late LeRoy Edward and the late Lucille Carol Bailey Storms.

Debbie was married to the late James E. Baker, Sr. He died July 30, 2002.

She worked as a cashier for Citgo Gas Station in Montague, NJ.

Surviving are brothers Hiram Storms and wife Nancy of Port Jervis, William Storms and wife Diana of Port Jervis, Donald Storms and wife Linda of Glen Spey, NY, Oscar Storms and Ray Storms, both of Port Jervis; sisters Lucille Hosek and husband Petro of Social Circle, GA, Caroline Harden and her husband Arthur of Port Jervis; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Port Jervis on Wednesday, December 28, with Pastor Joseph Iannone officiating. Following cremation a burial of cremains will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Port Jervis. Visit
