Wiseman solos in ‘Actionable’

September 29, 2011

HIGHLAND LAKE, NY — Canadian musical legend Bob Wiseman will give a solo theatre performance, “Actionable,” at NACL Theatre on Saturday, October 1 at 8 p.m.

Wiseman was a member of popular rock group, Blue Rodeo, and has performed in concert with Wilco, Feist, The Wallflowers, Ron Sexsmith and many others.

In “Actionable,” Wismean blends music, video, slides and monologue in a play about the sometimes litigious (and often hilarious) results of his songwriting, as he establishes his solo career post Canadian pop group Blue Rodeo. Directed by Sean Dixon, the performance is supported by NACL’s Deep Space performance residency program.

Tickets cost $10 to $20 on a sliding scale; pay what you can. Reservations can be made by email at Tannis@nacl.org or call 845-557/0694.
