‘Classic to Cool’ concludes with gala finale

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — The Weekend of Chamber Music’s (WCM) “Classic to Cool” festival will conclude this weekend, starting on Friday, July 22 at 7 p.m. with “At Work & Play Behind the Notes,” a free open rehearsal at the Eddie Adams Farm. The Saturday concert, at 8 p.m., will feature music by Brahms, Reger and Respighi in the “Gala Grand Finale,” followed by an artists’ reception on the barn porch under the stars, also at the farm. There will be a pre-concert talk at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $30. Friday and Saturday’s events will be at the Eddie Adams barn. On Sunday, July 24 at the Nesin Theater in Monticello, the WCM Summer Festival Interns and Festival Artists will perform in celebration of WCM’s 10-year history of providing full scholarships for high school interns to study with its artists at the annual festival.
