HONESDALE, PA — The “Duke of Bluegrass” Louie Setzer is coming to The Cooperage with his band The Appalachian Mountain Boys on Saturday, March 15 at 7 p.m. Joining Setzer is Jeff Propert, who will be playing various string instruments, Ron Penska on the upright bass, David Cavage on banjo and Joe Fili playing the fiddle.

Setzer and The Appalachian Mountain Boys combine traditional bluegrass, country and gospel music with a sound all their own. They blend four-part harmony, including banjo, country fiddle, Monroe-style mandolin and walking bass, in addition to Louie’s lead vocals and driving guitar playing.

The show is BYOB. Donations are collected at the door. Bluegrass-inspired food will be prepared and served. For more information, visit www.thecooperageproject.org or call 570/253-2020.
