Alice Hulihan

Alice Hulihan of Honesdale, PA died on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Wayne Woodlands Manor. She was 90.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hulihan.

Born on July 22, 1923 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Augusta Clause Finkbohner. She was a graduate of Narrowsburg High School and later worked at Bell Telephone as a secretary. She retired from Narrowsburg Lumber, where she was a secretary.

Alice was an active and devoted member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Narrowsburg and was a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. She also volunteered at the Narrowsburg Library. An avid walker, she enjoyed her daily strolls.

Surviving are her daughter, Maureen Carroll of Honesdale; her sons, Edward Hulihan of Ohio, and Dennis Hulihan of Pittston, PA; brothers, Allen Finkbohner of Narrowsburg, and Alvin Finkbohner of North Carolina; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Alberta and Augusta, and a brother, Alfred.

Private funeral services will be at her familys’ convenience.
