NARROWSBURG, NY — The Alliance Gallery at 37 Main St. will host a double opening reception on Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. for photographer Joe Statuto, whose exhibit “Perhaps in a Dream” will be shown in the main gallery, and for Matt Pozorski, whose sculpture and drawings show, “We Few, We Happy Few,” will be shown in the loft gallery. Both shows run through July 6.

Pozorski, who lives in Ellenville, NY, owns Matt Pozorski Sculptureworks, a foundry and sculpture services company that has completed many prestigious projects including for Robert Rauschenberg and for The American Museum of Natural History.

Statuto’s digital photography series was inspired by the surreal writings of Jorge Luis Borges to create dreamlike, illusory scenes where common objects seem to take on profound meaning. Call 845/252-7576 or visit www.ArtsAllianceSite.org.
