Alberta Finkbohner Hankins Cassone

Alberta Finkbohner Hankins Cassone died May 21, 2013 at her home in Greer, SC. She was 92.

She was born August 8, 1920 to Alfred Finkbohner Sr. and Augusta A. Clauss.

She spent her early years in Narrowsburg, NY and later moved to Hancock, NY where she and her late husband Willis Hankins operated a bluestone retail business. She retired to Fort Myers, FL. Alberta and her husband Martin Cassone lived in Fort Myers and several years in Hendersonville, NC before moving to Greer, SC.

Alberta will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a very kind, gentle and respected lady.

She is predeceased by her parents; her sister Augusta Finkbohner Edwards; and brother Alfred Finkbohner Jr.

Survivors include her husband Martin Cassone; her sister Alice Finkbohner Hulihan; and brothers Alvin and Allen Finkbohner.

A service was conducted May 24, 2013 at Forest Lawn Mortuary in Hendersonville, NC with burial in the cemetery mausoleum crypt.
