MONTICELLO, NY — On June 12, the Kindergarten students at the George L. Cooke Elementary School celebrated the completion of their first year of school. Parents were invited to see their children walk down the aisle with their fellow classmates to participate in the Kindergarten graduation.

While waiting to see them, the parents watched a slideshow of pictures taken throughout the school year. The graduates then entered the gymnasium where they sang a few songs. Their respective teachers handed out the Kindergarten diplomas. After graduation, everyone was invited back to his or her child’s room to continue the celebration. A good time was had by all.
