MOSCOW, PA — Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced on July 8 that a Wayne County man has been arrested and charged with diverting raw sewage directly into a stream. William E. Neville, 85, owner of the Neville Trailer Park located at 377 Neville Rd., Moscow, faces three charges: unlawful conduct regarding the Clean Streams Law, violating a prohibition against other pollution and pollution of waters.
The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Environmental Crimes Section conducted a criminal investigation based on a referral by the Wayne County district attorney.
Investigators say Neville Trailer Park was discharging untreated sewage into a tributary of Wilcox Creek. The Neville Trailer Park has been owned by William Neville since 1981.
The charges were filed in Hawley before Magisterial District Judge Bonnie Carney.
