Dr. Carlos Holden from Catskill Regional Medical Center to speak at the Sullivan County Public Safety and Law Enforcement Committee Meeting March 5, 2015 at 9:15AM.

Dr. Carlos Holden, Medical Director of the Emergency Room at Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) will be making a presentation to the Sullivan County Legislature in the Public Safety and Law Enforcement Committee meeting on the opioid drug

situation in Sullivan County: “One Year Later.” The presentation is a follow up on a presentation he gave last year to the legislators.

The presentation will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 9:15 am sharp in the Legislative Committee Room on the second floor of the Sullivan County Government Center - 100 North Street - Monticello, NY.

Cora Edwards, Chair of the Public Safety and Law Enforcement Committee said: “The reason we are inviting Dr. Holden back to the committee meeting is so that he can give us an update on the activities of the Sullivan County Drug Task Force, after a very

informative presentation he gave to the committee last year. We will also be planning an evening meeting in the spring (April or May) so more members of the community can attend after the workday. This is an issue that is affecting our county, our state and our nation. We must stay informed and pro-active.”

The meeting is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. For further information, please call the Sullivan County Legislative Office at 845.807.0435.
