SUNY SULLIVAN POSTPONES VISIT OF COLLEGE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE

Posted

Loch Sheldrake, NY (November 2, 2012) - The first of four finalists for the position of SUNY Sullivan college president, Dr. Ralph Ford, will not be visiting campus on Monday, November 5. This also means that the Community Forum with the candidate scheduled for that day has been postponed.

Due to hurricane damage sustained at his New Jersey campus, Dr. Ford and SUNY Sullivan have agreed to postpone his visit and reschedule it for a date later in November. When the date is decided, a public notification will be made.

As of this announcement, the other three finalists are set to arrive for their individual campus visits as planned. The next candidate, Dr. Eunice Bellinger, is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, November 7 and will participate in a Community Forum at 2:00 pm in the Seelig Theater that day.

For details on each of the candidates, their Sullivan County visitation schedules, and SUNY Sullivan's process in narrowing an impressive field of candidates down to these final four, please visit the college's presidential search web page at: www.sunysullivan.edu/presidentialsearch.
