MONTICELLO, NY — Each year the Sullivan County Partnership bestows its most prestigious award on a Sullivan County citizen who reflects the best of Sullivan County business, community and charitable leadership. The award will be presented at its annual meeting and celebration, to be held on Thursday, October 4. The award is intended to recognize the fine ideals that were personified by the late Walter A. Rhulen.

Interested members should submit their nomination for the Walter A. Rhulen award no later than Friday, August 10, in writing via email or traditional mail. No nominations will be accepted after that date. The board of directors will vote to determine the recipient.

Nominees for the “Walter A. Rhulen Award” will be judged on their achievements in the areas of business excellence, community commitment and humanity. The board is looking for a candidate who best exemplifies the highest standards of the Sullivan County Partnership and the Sullivan County business Community.
