Foodstock, which has quickly become one of the most popular events in Sullivan County, is scheduled to take place on May 5, at the Villa Roma Resort’s Tennis Building in Callicoon, from 11 a.m. through 3 p.m. This year the event will feature more than 60 culinary vendors.

Farmers, local food companies, bakeries and food producers of all kinds will be represented, as well as local restaurants, caterers, wineries and distributors. Each will offer samples of their product for attendees to taste, with all products available for purchase. Restaurants will offer a taste of one or more of their signature dishes.

WJFF President Dawn Dorcas said, “There will be fresh produce of all kinds, baked goods, homemade jams, meats, smoked fish, maple products, gelato, yogurts, sausages, sauces and pesto, ethnic foods, many cheeses, and an array of locally-produced wines, vodka, hard cider and craft beers.”

The event raises funds for the nonprofit WJFF Community Radio Station. Tickets purchased in advance are $20 with wine, $15 without; at the door, $25 with wine, $20 without. Visit www.wjffradio.org for more information or call 845/482-4141 to purchase tickets in advance.
