The Honesdale Borough Police Department is investigating a theft of a firearm and an undisclosed amount of money from a residence in the Sunrise Mobile Home Park, located off Rt. 191 in the Borough.

The victim indicated the burglary occurred sometime between 01/13/12 and 01/20/12 while he was away from his residence. During that time frame a person(s) entered his residence and stole a Ruger 9mm Semi-automatic pistol and an undisclosed amount of money.
