Pennsylvania State Farm Bureau Board (PFB) Director David Williams was awarded the PFB Dedicated Service Award at the annual meeting for the organization in Hershey. Williams, a native of Honesdale, is the orginator of PA Farm Country Radio Network, the largest agricultural radio programming in Pennsylvania. His voice can be heard airing on over 30 radio channels throughout PA and New York as he brings the voice of agriculture to listeners’ ears.
Williams’ acceptance speech brought a standing ovation from those present. Williams has served on the State Farm Bureau for the past seven years, and on the executive board for the state organization for four of those seven years. He is also active in the local chapter of the Wayne Pike County Farm Bureau.
