On Veteran’s Day, newly refurbished monuments were dedicated in the Town of Highland at Heroes Park in Eldred in honor of those who served in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and for all who have served America.
The event was one of many commemorations of our country’s veterans celebrated around the area on Friday, November 11. A dedication of the monument featuring a fragment of the World Trade Center was held on September 11.
