Sullivan County Manager David Fanslau announced that the Sullivan County Community College will open the Paul Gerry Field House locker rooms shower facilities to county residents that remain without power on Thursday, September 1st, and Friday, September 2nd.

The hours will be:

Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and Friday, September 2, 2011 from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM

Residents that remain out of electricity will need to report to the Paul Gerry Field House on the Sullivan County Community College campus in Loch Sheldrake. All participants will need to bring their own toiletries and towels.

"I want to thank the Sullivan County Community College Board of Trustees for offering assistance to county residents, during this continuing power outage that is affecting thousands as a result of the impacts from hurricane Irene," said Fanslau
