On April 9, three suspects were apprehended exiting one of the seven locations raided by the DEA and sheriff’s deputies on March 30 as part of a marijuana seizure.
It has been determined that the trio were not part of the original growing operation, but allegedly took several wrist watches, an electric grow light bulb, and a blower motor from the house.
Brian Gunther, 28, of Eldred; Wayne Timan, 29, of Yulan; and Joseph Murphy, 44, of Yulan, were charged with burglary in the second degree, a class “C” felony, and criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny, both misdemeanors.
They were arraigned before Town of Thompson Judge Martin Miller, and were scheduled to appear in court last Tuesday, after press time.
