HONESDALE, PA — Some 60 people turned out for the re-opening of Wayne Memorial Hospital’s new outpatient rehabilitation services at 190 Delaware St. The staff was formerly located at the Stourbridge Complex on Maple Avenue.
The facility offers three services under one roof—physical, occupational and speech therapy—as well as specialty therapies for stroke, cancer, Parkinson’s and lymphedema patients. The staff welcomed former patients and their families, newcomers, hospital board members and administrators and members of the board of the Greater Honesdale Partnership (GHP).
After refreshments and tours, attendees posed for a ribbon cutting. GHP President Jeff Hiller and Executive Director Gail Bradley also presented the staff with a certificate.
The new site is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 570/253-7325.
