William Rieber, Jr., Supervisor of the Town of Thompson announces the issuance of a Temporary Conditional Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) for the Resorts World Casino effective 3:45 this afternoon, December 28.  This will allow the owners occupancy for the purposes of training employees and re-locating some management offices to the new building.  No part of the building is open to the public at this time.  The TCO will be expanded to other areas of the complex as those areas are completed and able to be safely occupied.

Supervisor Rieber noted, “This issuance of a TCO is crucial to getting the casino ready for business on the projected opening date of February 16th.  The Resorts World team headed by Ryan Eller, President and Chief Operating Officer and Charles Degliomini, Exec. VP have worked diligently with our Building Department and engineering staff headed by Jim Carnell, Director of Zoning and Planning for Thompson in a coordinated effort to make this project a reality.  Staff was on call until midnight Thursday to get the TCO ready.”
