Another fun-filled holiday weekend with family and friends. On Saturday, the Cochecton Youth Commission (CYC) had their Christmas Party at the Lake Huntington Fire Hall. The kids did crafts, coloring and sang along with Brad Rutledge and his kids, Matthew and Annabelle. There were bagels, snack and something called reindeer poop, made by your one and only Jamie Meyer. The kids loved it, but most of all they enjoyed Santa and all the gifts. On Saturday afternoon, my sister Maryanne and her husband came up from Queens to go shopping. When we were finished shopping and wrapping she said to me,  “That is the fastest I ever got my Christmas shopping and wrapping done.” Went back to my house where my brother Teddy and his girl friend joined us for a fun dinner and a game of Dirty Santa. Sunday was a great day at my niece’s house, where Santa came to visit. I am truly blessed with a great family. Lisa B, Vacation Specialist at TripGuy Travel, has offered a fundraiser opportunity to Cochecton Youth Commission. Just let Lisa know you heard about her through the CYC. For each family, couple or solo traveler that books a vacation package with Lisa B., Lisa will donate $25 to the CYC upon their return. The donation is per booking not per person, the offer is not valid on air only and if the vacation is canceled and not traveled the donation will not be made. Lisa B. can be contacted at 845/796-6190 or by email at lisa@tripguy.com. Don’t forget to like her Facebook page Lisa B Vacation Specialist at TripGuy Travel for vacation tips, ideas and deals.
