In this political climate an ideal such as this is a rarity, even nonexistent. However, this is exactly what I bore witness to with my own eyes on October 20 at the Paul Menditto Barbeque Fundraiser. Republicans, Democrats and Independents came together to support Menditto for Magisterial District Judge.

I saw Americans of all parties and places enjoying good food, good music and most of all, each other’s company. I have been on the campaign trail many times before as manager of operations and finances, but working on Menditto’s campaign this year has restored my faith. Good people from all walks of life not only came together, but also worked together to accomplish a common goal. It’s like a billion dollars; you know it exists, but will you ever see it yourself? If this positive action can be accomplished right here in Pike County, PA, maybe this can manifest on a larger scale throughout our great country?

There is something to be said about the character of the candidate when Americans of all parties and places come together in support. I sincerely thank everyone for their commitment and invested time with Menditto’s campaign. I truly appreciate the relationships made with the many new people I have met this year.

On November 5 vote Menditto for Magisterial District Judge, truly the best candidate.
