Tony Ritter wants a debate

Two years ago, during the election of 2011, there was a five-person race for Tusten Council’s two seats, and I was one of the candidates.

The River Reporter thought it would be a good idea to have a print/online debate by posing five questions for each of the candidates so that the voters could make an informed decision before going to the polls in November.

It is now 2013 and we now have a four person race in Tusten for two council seats.

I think the electorate would like to know what each candidate’s position is for leading our town.

I would hope that your newspaper will again present questions to the candidates for Council—Mr.Lang, Ms. Reynosa, Mr. Pierce and Ms. Luchsinger – as well as to Mr. Lohmann and Ms. Wingert, both whom are running for Supervisor, prior to the citizens of Tusten casting their vote on November 5th.

I am writing this on October 20th. I remember receiving my email from you asking for my opinions on September 30th 2011, so time’s a wasting to find out what each of the Election 2013 candidates would like to achieve for Tusten.

Your readership, as well as the citizens of Tusten, deserve no less.
