In support of Van Morrow

Posted

I first met Van Morrow more than 10 years ago, shortly after I purchased my home in Jeffersonville. At the time, Van was a co-owner of the Towne Crier, a small local newspaper. I was impressed then, as I am now, with his enthusiasm for the region of Sullivan County.

Van owns and operates two small businesses, and that gives him first-hand knowledge of what many of our local businesses are up against today. I was very pleased when Van decided to run for a seat on the Town of Callicoon Board.

Like many residents, I love this region and wish to preserve the precious qualities that make it so special. Van has lots of new ideas to improve the local economy and bring prosperity to Sullivan County while still retaining the beautiful surroundings, fresh air and fresh water that we cherish.

This is why I would like to urge my fellow residents to vote for Van Morrow on Nov. 5. If you take the time to meet with him, you will see for yourself how much Van, a small business owner, has to offer our town.
