An endorsement for Jane Luchsinger for town council

In 1989, I moved to Narrowsburg. Upon arriving here, I was very respectful of the culture that had been here for generations. I now consider myself a “successful transplant” because I have respect for the local people and the history of the area.

If you’ve attended any of the town board meetings in the last few years, you know that an uncomfortable “us” vs “them” mentality has become evident. In order to be the best town we can be, we must end the divide and work together.

Jane Luchsinger is running for town council and I fully support her and her approach. Her volunteer work is impressive. Jane is the president of the Chamber of Commerce, she’s on the Beautification Committee, she serves on the Board of Directors of the DVAA, and she is a member of the Tusten Lions Club and the Tusten Historical Society, and she served as a trustee of the Western Sullivan Public Library.

Jane pledges to listen to and learn from all Tusten residents. Jane is another successful transplant. She is a uniter, not a divider, and that is exactly what we need. Please vote for Jane Luchsinger in the Democratic Primary on Tuesday, September 10.
